About Me

I have just finished my three year degree in journalism and I am looking to apply my skills in writing, design, communications and marketing jobs.

Throughout my degree, I have balanced freelance work, in journalism and social media, alongside my studies. With an eye for precision, I tackle every task to the best of my ability. I particularly enjoy writing feature stories about unique topics. For example, I recently wrote a feature article about forest bathing and the benefits it can for your mental health. I also enjoy writing business articles, especially interviews and pieces on sustainability. 

 

I also have a passion for raising awareness of Alzheimer's and wrote my 10,000 word dissertation on the presentation of the disease on Twitter by advocacy and news organisations.

Although I have a passion for writing, I also love creating new and interesting content for social media. I have built a social media platform from scratch for my local hair salon @franthairstudios. Alongside this, I was head of social media for Carrot Magazine for a year @carrot.magazine.

My experience also extends to that of all of the Adobe Creative Cloud Apps and I have also achieved 100 words per minute in shorthand.
